David Slik is the technical director for object storage at NetApp, and is a co-chair of the SNIA Cloud Storage Technical Working Group. He participated in the creation of the XAM and CDMI standards, and has architected and developed large-scale distributed object storage systems deployed world-wide as a key component of mission-critical enterprise applications.
